Answer: This question is a good one and is asked more often than you think. Golf balls that are made for men, must be struck very hard to make them compress enough to make them fly. On the other hand, golf balls that are made for women do not require the brute strength for them to spring into action and fly when struck by a golf club. An example of this, is if you ever watch a slow motion replay of a baseball being struck by a bat, you will notice that the ball looks as though it is being squished or compressed. The same thing happens to a golf ball.
